I made it to the Corner on Sat night, but am making the trip to Bendigo this week as I grew up playing in a band in Bendigo. Having played at the Golden Vine quite a few times I'm really looking forward to seeing the guys there.
BTW. (To the Vasco lads) - If you dont wanna drive home after the gig, I'll be able to hook up a roof for the night. (A nice big pad close to the vine)....see you there.... J

Another killer gig by the lads was a nice way to spend my first "night out" in Bendigo since movin up here for work.
Unfortunately my night was kind of tainted by three skanks (straight out of a sportsgirl commercial) who had to stand right up the front spending the whole gig watching through their mobile phones. If you wanna film a gig, for fuck sake keep your camera low enough so the people behind you can watch the band, and not the live broadcast from your phone. If you wanna stand somewhere and try to look sexy, but you only move your ass when you get a sniff of triple J airplay, fuck off to the back, so people who hang on every note from every song can see what they came for. Oh yeah, and screaming drunken drivel to the band members between every song, asking for those triple J faves, gets really old really fast.
There.....that's my 2 cents worth for the day.
Sorry to be so "critical" but I am so over rock being a fashion statement for people who cant find their own identity.
With that said, as usual the band put on a KILLER show.
